In addition to my work in the Netherlands I give workshops abroad, in response to invitation.

Working abroad offers me the opportunity of trying out my knowledge and experience against other cultures. And in turn, I learn from these cultures. I apply the knowledge gained in this way to my work in the Netherlands, so that a wonderful cross pollination has arisen, varying from Gypsy songs from the Balkan to the Celtic Melodies of Britain in relationship to Crooning, Chansons, Réaliste and Classical Song.

Performance orientated workshops also offer me the opportunity of getting to know the performing arts from country to country, and the customs connected to them.

How does a singer set up his art and what is the most important point of departure? What is primary - the emotional side of things or the form? And in what way do form and emotion influence each other? This gives rise to a second cross pollination in another area.
